Sam's excuses about players being tired.
Only 4 teams in the premiership have played less games than us this season. QPR, Leicester, Burnley & Villa and they are the bottom 4.

When Liverpool played us the other week, we had no game in mid week yet they had played Chelsea on the Tuesday night that went 120 minutes yet it was us that lacked energy in that game. Liverpool have also played 10 more matches than us this season.

Next weekend we play Tottenham. They have a match on Thursday against Fiorentina while we will have had 8 days rest. Tottenham have also played 11 more games than us this season so what will sam's excuses be if we lose?
You can bet if the roles were reversed, Sam would be going on about us having to play a game in midweek and not having time to recover and yet no one else seems to complain about it.

Allardyce sounded like he was doing all of us a favour when he said because we were practically safe we could have a go at the FA cup.

It's either about injuries or being tired but never about the manager or players not doing there job and it's getting fucking tiresome (no pun intended).

Totts are playing in Europe on Thursday night?

Fatso won't be able to use this 'weariness' excuse next Sunday if we lose at WHL.
I'm sure he will cover his tracks some other way.

Excuses Excuses that is all we have I guess.

I said some time ago that the longer you play a certain way the better you become.
Our players do not know whether they are coming or going or to stick or twist they are professionals but even they can easily get disolutional just look at Song.

"I have to give West Brom a lot of credit - they were very good. But I look at the players and there was not the energy we know they've got based on all they've done in the last few weeks."

You mean a 4 game non-winning streak ?

I note Adrian and Gold have aploogised , not so the big fella , well it wasn't his fault I suppose

Fair enough face and I never rated Hughes before but he is starting to grow on me. When pulls left Stoke I was sure they were gone but he has impressed me. Despite being a boring Welsh cunt

Hughes is a proper whining welsh twat.

Did you not see what he did to QPR? Even with an open cheque book he was useless at Man City. Walked out on Fulham as well.

Re: Sam's excuses about players being tired.
Mark Hughes has shown Sam how to lose with dignity today. He said their performance was not good enough and no complaints at all. Hughes has done a great job and I would have him in a heartbeat.

Also, Sam has called amalfitano irresponsible for his Red. I don't recall him saying the same about our captain fantastic's red cards. The man is a joke

He's been done by Tony Pullis teams far too often.

Is he an imbecile? I'll let his record be the judge of that.

You mean he's not going through the motions because he's a total imbecile?

You are a far harsher man than me.

Couldn't disagree more.

He wanted to win today but he was beaten by the better man.

Sam...

A different view...

That was Hepatitis A football...you catch it from shit.

Excusing professional footballers for tiredness is very poor man management because they will actually believe it.

It stank for 95 minutes...that is not tiredness sir...that is unacceptable.

If I was playing for you and your tiredness lines...tell me...where would I get my inspiration from?

Hmmm?

To be fair, I think he did admit that WBA were superior but I don't think he took responsibility. I doubt he ever will.

Re: Sam's excuses about players being tired.
Allardyce is an egotistical self publicist. When we lose he makes excuses, when we win he claims the credit. Frankly, I don't care what he says in his post match interview or in his columns as I judge him on results.

Today was the biggest game of our season and we were awful. He could have come out and shouldered the blame, admitted that he was out thought and his team was outplayed. Instead he blamed fatigue etc.

Either way I don't care. The journey back from West Brom would have been no better had he taken responsibility. What he says is irrelevant.

His challenge is to pick the team up and get a result at Spurs. I don't give a fuck what he says in the meantime.

I could bring up the Liverpool FC team of the 70-80;s that would play on nigh on 70 games a season sometimes.... that's on shit pitches... shit travel to shit places in Europe... horrendous coach journeys.... never ever if they lost a game did I ever hear Paisley say they were tired.... the bloke is a cunt if that is his get out of jail card

Bang on, Sold. That was in the days when you ate a steak before going on the pitch and had a pint and a snout at half time. No warm ups. No shin pads. Football's heavy as medicine balls. And all for 100 quid a week.

MODERN FOOTBALL IS SHIT.
